Where it Began
1945
The founders of today’s Ivy Paradise are Kochu Cherukan, officially known as Kochusekaran, and his sons Karunakaran and Bhaskaran. It was a weaving mill established in 1945 in Alappuzha district, Chengannur taluk, Puliyur village, on the east side of Thonnakkad SNDP building. In the ensuing mechanization it became a crisis and then they engaged in various self-employment, agricultural activities and contractor enterprises.
2003
After that, their successor and Bhaskar’s son, Babu P Bhaskar, took over many of their businesses. Later, in 2003, they started a business of various building products and continued to do so successfully. Demonetization in 2017, GST tax structure reform, the Great Flood in 2018 and the Covid-19 in 2019 have put it in crisis.
2020
After that Babu.P. Bhaskar’s daughter, 17-year-old Aditya Babu, started this online platform “ivyparadiseplant” in 2020. Today, Aditya Babu’s parents, Babu P. Bhaskar and Sreeja Babu, manage the company.
2025
As a result of the efforts of Babu P. Bhaskar As a hard work, by 2025, we have been able to collect information on plants and seeds from different parts of the world, ensure the availability of maximum products, and turn Ivy Paradise into the world’s largest plant online shop.
