Where it Began
1945
The founders of today’s Ivy Paradise are Kochu Cherukan, officially known as Kochusekaran, and his sons Karunakaran and Bhaskaran. It was a weaving mill established in 1945 in Alappuzha district, Chengannur taluk, Puliyur village, on the east side of Thonnakkad SNDP building. In the ensuing mechanization it became a crisis and then they engaged in various self-employment, agricultural activities and contractor enterprises.
2003
After that, their successor and Bhaskar’s son, Babu P Bhaskar, took over many of their businesses. Later, in 2003, they started a business of various building products and continued to do so successfully. Demonetization in 2017, GST tax structure reform, the Great Flood in 2018 and the Covid-19 in 2019 have put it in crisis.
2020
After that Babu.P. Bhaskar’s daughter, 17-year-old Aditya Babu, started this online platform “ivyparadiseplant” in 2020. Today, Aditya Babu’s parents, Babu P. Bhaskar and Sreeja Babu, manage the company.
