In our business journey of more than 6 years, despite many positive reviews, there were only 3 or 4 negative reviews that found our shortcomings. Let me first express my gratitude for that. Those negative reviews were not our fault. They were either due to the third-party shipping company or due to lack of knowledge about our policy. The explanation for that is given below.

Time delay

Ivy Paradise is the world's largest online plant shop. That's why we find and deliver to you even the rarest plants. Sometimes there may be a delay in availability. We apologize for this, but it is not a deliberate delay on our part

The main reasons for these are

Plants can only be packed after the order is placed because plants are living organisms. If the plant is in poor health at the time, or is affected by diseases or pests, or if the existing plants are in good condition, the shipping will be stopped until new plants arrive or until the existing plants are restored.

Plants will not be shipped under any circumstances during long public holidays i.e. Puja, Diwali, Christmas, some local traditional festivals in India, natural calamities, war, civil strife etc., as the plant is a living organism and there is a possibility of damage due to delay in shipping due to lack of water or light. Shipping will commence only after such circumstances are restored to normal.

Some plants can only germinate or propagate for a specific period of time. After that, they need to reach the growth stage to be shipped.

Some plants and seeds have to be collected from outside India (if the existing stock is not sufficient for germination) and in such a situation, there will be a delay in shipping until the new stock arrives. The customer should also understand that plants are not a product like stationery or groceries, but a living organism. There are some limitations when it comes to shipping them from one habitat to another. Instead, look at the online business of plants in the same way as other products.

Plant damage & mortality

A plant is a living organism. If there is a delay in shipping, it will not get water and light and the plants will be damaged. For this, we provide air shipping to distant places. Choose that. If there is damage after receiving the plant, we ask you to upload a photo or video on our WhatsApp within 12 hours. It would also be good to provide a video of the package opening. We will be able to confirm the damage in a little more time. We will check it and take further action. If it is total damage, the replacement process will start immediately. If it is partial damage, we will tell you about its care and we will be able to confirm the damage in a little more time and we will check it and take further action. Plants that are selected for air shipping and do not report damage in a timely manner will not receive a replacement. The main reason for reporting damage in a timely manner is that if the plants are in a hot location and do not receive enough water, or if pests such as bacteria are infesting your location, the plant will quickly become damaged.

Receiving incorrect varieties

We sell more than 15000 products. Some of the plants and seeds have similarities. Especially rare varieties sometimes face difficulties in identifying. In such cases, in some rare cases, the plants are replaced. If you inform us with clear evidence, we will arrange for a replacement at our own expense.

Poor packing & small size

While packing the plants, we pack them with utmost care within their limitations, but due to the handling of the shipping company, some rare packages get damaged. It is not our fault, as we state in our policy. The plants on the website are just for display. They ship the maximum size plants they have. Also, the shipping risk increases as the size of the plant increases. Therefore, only plants of a size that ensures safety are shipped.

A special warning

We have noticed that some third-party sites are posting negative reviews that defame us without our permission. The main reason for this is jealousy of Ivy Paradise's growth as the world's largest online plant shop. Please do not believe such comments.

Some of the people are posting reviews against the site without understanding this truth. We have put a good policy in front of you that is suitable for plants. Please act within it. We request you not to act contrary to it and defame the site. We also expect your valuable cooperation and support
